Marketing (Part-Time, Remote-Hybrid) in Spanish Fork, Utah

I've been designing and building the MK1, a premium MIDI keyboard for musicians who want more than plastic. It's finished. It's a thing of beauty. But now it needs to be seen and sold. I'm hiring someone to help with marketing.

What this actually is:

  • Part-time work (roughly 15-20 hours/week to start, weekdays during normal business hours)
  • $18-25/hour depending on what you bring
  • Hybrid position (mostly remote with some in-office work)
  • Trial period of 1-2 months (paid) so we can both see if this is a fit. If it's working, it becomes ongoing.

What you'd actually do:

Run our social media presence. Write posts, shoot short video, edit, publish. Show up on the platforms where musicians hang out. Improve our website. Answer customer questions like a real human. Come up with creative ideas for reaching the right people. (This is a very focused niche.) Anything else that helps. This is a small company. Roles are loose.

Who I'm hoping to find:

Someone with charisma. Someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people, on camera, in writing, on the phone. Someone who loves music and creativity. Someone who understands the difference between marketing that feels honest and marketing that feels like being sold to. Someone who is excited about working in a very small team, at least for now. If you can play the piano, that's a plus.

Musicians, artists, writers, teachers, people who ran their own small thing: all could be a good fit for this position. I care more about the human, not the credentials. Show me you can write in a real voice and connect with people. If you have an online presence, I want to see it.

Location:

This is a hybrid position. You will work remotely with some in-office work in Spanish Fork. If you live too far away this probably isn't the right fit.
